  1. Anyone know of a good cheap/free program to find and delete duplicate
    images??

I have hundreds of fish tank images and i am sure most of them are
    duplicates

ACDsee does a good job of searching for identically named or identical
images. It can be a little tedious deleting them but it works well
    -at least version 6 does, I can't comment on V 8.

In addition to the suggestions from others, I suggest you also ask in:

    alt.comp.freeware

    Cheers, Phred.

You can use the Search > for files or folders in XP.
