Durst Laborator 54 question

  1. Thank you all for the quick replies. The Oto 54 is wonderful, bu
finding the lensboards are a pain. I found some in Ebay, but I go
outbid every time. The sad reality is that my wage is not in dollars o
euros. I have a limit to what I can buy.

Ritght now, I have located the latub 2, and a Seipla. The problem wit
both of them is that they have 25mm threads, not 39mm. The othe
problem is that they are selling each for 150 u$s, which i
    outrageously high for me.

This is why I am looking for a machinist to do a replica of them
    adjusting the threads to 39mm.

Well, that's all I can do right now. But you better be sure that I a
not giving up on my Laborator. I saved my money for two years to bu
    the darn thing

  2. The 25mm thread is probably a flat screw-in adaptor from 39mm down to
25mm this is how my Latub came from its first owner.
This is absolutely ridiculous. A bit of patience and you should find a
latub on ebay for about $30.
