    Hello,

I have tried to make DVD out of some videos with AC3 sound.
These .avi file work fine on Windows Media Player, but when I drop
them into DVD Architect 2.0 - the video portion appears, but no audio
    track - it is blank.

AC3 sound videos use to work fine with DVD -A.

I tried DVD Santa - it is much simpler, but has much less control. It
    works fine.

Any idea why this would be happening?

    Thanks,

    Tmuld.

Clarification please as your post is somewhat confusing.
An AVI file has audio as part of it's stream.
AC-3 is audio only and has to be matched to a corresponding MPEG-2 stream.
Where did the files originally come from?
