Hey eveybody, I just put a little poll for the group so I can find out what
the most widely supported DVD format is. I know that people have different
opinions, so I thought I'd take a poll to see how it really is. Please vote!

    Thanks!

    HI Cory,

I took your poll, I voted both play, but
it's not so scientific cause i have about 5 dvd players.
1 in bedroom, 1 in livingroom, 1 burner in each computer and a standalone
    recoder.
Of the plain ol' players the philips plays dvd+r only
and the toshiba plays both, the burners play both, don't even get me started
    with
other combinations like dvd+rw and dvd-rw, they don't all play both of them.

I'd say we are finally in an era were players bought now should play both,
the new problems will come in a few years when newer blue laser players are
suppose to be backward compatible with pressed dvd disks, but will THEY be
able to read our dvd-r and dvd+r disks?

Man o man thats rediculous!! lol It's interesting that some can only play
DVD-R but no one else can only play +R. (I'm assuming the new Panasonic
players that dont play +R which really frusterates me)
It looks like I'm going to be burning -R from now on.

    Thanks all for your votes!
