Exposure measurements theory question

    I have forgotten, I knew it about 10 years ago!

    Is one stop equivalent to 1 ev?

    One stop *or* one shutter speed step is equivalent to one EV. The base
    value, 0 EV, is equal to an exposure of one second at F/1.0.
