FC-Express - how to move a clip 1 frame to the left???

Discussion in 'Amateur Video Production' started by Greg Alexander, Aug 12, 2003.

  1. Hi,
I'm new to Final Cut Express, and I need some help with something I
    hope is very easy!

I have 2 video tracks shot of the same scene, that I'm overlapping in
my sequence. However, to get them to be exactly synced is hard. I can
get it within a frame easily enough, but moving it 1 frame left or
right is next to impossible with a mouse.

Is there a tool so I can click the video track and move it frame by
frame using the arrows? or something similar?

I've been looking through the manuals but haven't found it yet.
    Thanks for any help!!

    Greg

hilite (select) the clip you want to move; type "+1", hit enter; or "-1"
    hit enter; DONE!

    - - or any other number of frames you would like the clip moved - or the
video playhead if no clip is selected
