Anyone have a Firewire Cardreader that they are happy with?.... I have
firewire ports available but no USB 2 support (The devil's Own still)
so my 5 in one is dead slow at emptying a few One Gig CF cards,

    Regards,

Maybe cheaper to add a USB2 PCI card into your computer these generally
    have 2 ports.

I have USB 2 hardware but I am 99% sure that it can't work on XP without the
service pack one and as I'm in part a devils own user that is
    undesirable.....

Well see how the firewire goes....

yes it will anyway software does come with the card to make it work. I
have one in an old W2000 PC so as to use the external Iomega DVD burner.
