Good thought. I really don't understand why anyone would buy
a camera. You can just shoot it with a cell phone, open up the keyboard,
tweak it, and e-mail it home, to open up some more space. You can do it all
waiting for the lite to change. I wonder how many people missed the future
while reading the manual for the "next new thing".

  2. I'm sorry, my sarcasm detector is acting up. No one in a photography
forum would really MEAN that, would they?

favorite camera is a Rollei. E type 3. I get my best percentage of keepers
with that one. From that point on, every advance? in design has led to twice
the advance in aggravation, and half the satisfaction of making pictures. If
you believe the Information Doubling scenario, then in 2011-2012, all
information, including "The next big thing", will be obsolete before
Wal-Mart can stock it. Film is obsolete, digital is obsolete, a good cell
fone might, I say might, last the contract. This computer crap flies in and
out of this place faster than I find time to complain about it. But I try.
So I tried the new HP-5+. The stuff is superb. Obsolete, but superb. Bob

Not in a forum about *film* cameras they wouldn't which is by the way what is. But just wait and in the not too distant future
digital dullards in *every* NG will be singing the praises of this method of
photography. And that's *not* sarcasm, but I did enjoy making the point.
    Film, rules!

  5. Cameras built into cell phones are just toys, but I don't see why a
legitimate camera manufacturer couldn't build a cell phone into a
professional digital camera, so that you could deliver your photographs
directly to your editor by telephone as you take them..........

I visited Bob and Paul whenever in the area.
I still have and use a Konica T3 I bought from them over 30 years ago.
They as well as other members of Fishkin were what made their customers return
time and time again. The mold was broke when businesses such as Fishkin and others started out.
