I just got an email from the Shoot In auto-responder telling me it just
received my submission. However I've never submitted *anything* to the SI so
this is not my doing. Either someone sent in one of my shots without my
permission (in which case the persons running the show are asked to remove it
to avoid copyright issues) or someone has submitted their own work or stolen
images from someone else and stolen my name and email address as a cover.

I noticed the past couple of days 20-30 posts were filtered out when I logged
on so I'm guessing maybe others have complained about this and I didn't see
them since I have [SI], "Shoot In" and a dozen other variations of this in my
kill filters. So maybe I'm not the only one ...

  2. Many people do, so including it in posts relating to the shoot in would be
    nice.

It's just the latest round of attempts from bitter trolls with no talent,
who feel threatened by the shoot-in.

I got two of those e-mails today.
Clearly they feel that a strategy of flooding the SI with fakes will harm
    it.

It's much like the bully that is incapable of winning friends, who therefore
sets out to experience a false sense of importance through attracting
    negative attention.

We're dealing with full-grown children here.

They'll move back to their video games soon enough.

Meanwhile...just yawn and watch them squirm once again through their own
    dung.

Hmmm, yawn, infantile troll out to play again. Still, shame if he annoyed
    Bill, however momentarily.

But, Bill, do note: it ain't a competition - that's the whole point.
