Cool! It was equally good being there.

Actually it was not so cold - the valleys are just an hour or so in descent
    away and steeped in sunlight.

It was one of those days where we got to within 100 metres of the top on
open & glorious sunshine. Then the weather closed in quickly, very quickly.

The wind really did make a terrible racket - difficult to speak unless very
    closely huddled together.

Thank you for your kind thoughts and sentiments

ps - if you really want a -erm- enlightening experience consider that some
of the stones and rocks probably have ages measured in millions of years.
Think about that for a moment or 2 before reading on ....

If you are ever outdoors away from other forms of illumination on a moonless
starry night. Look closely at any star (make sure it is not a planet
though) Take a good look at star, ponder a while - then consider that the
photons exciting the rods & cones in one's eyes have ages measured in
billions of years. Ahhh - ponderable!

Did you get a sun burn? Or a snow burn? :)
I would have never thought of that. When did you take this trek?
I admire people you explore and do make create good things.
I think of things like that. Even on the beaches viewing a grain of
sand. My yard, when digging a hole. The universe is a wonderful
    thing!

    cheers
