Hehehe! And Nikon still bellows to anyone who wants
to listen that their dslrs are the best.
    Yeah! Right...

The best? Sorry but without quantification, that has no meaning.
Nikon certainly have very good lenses. Canon certainly have very good
cameras. Is one without the other 'best'? I doubt it. Now if you want to
talk about a good camera or a good lens, best might have some meaning.

That's exactly what I said: Nikon thinks their dslrs are the top.
"dslrs" are "cameras", last time I looked...
In the day and age of digital? Certainly so! There is no film to
    blame:
the dslr camera now includes the image recording device. Which
either is top notch or your lens maybe as good as you might like,
it'll never record images to its potential.

Same as used to happen with low quality versus high quality films,
back when using silver: used a lousy film, didn't matter how good
the rest was you still had a problem.

Did it matter in producing great images? I don't know: I always used
the best film I could afford. Still do. (and my images are still
That is exactly what I did! I said: "Nikon ... dslrs". That is
    EXACTLY
the same as "nikon ... cameras". They are no match for Canon
    dslrs. Period.

Bob is selling some camera gear.

If you are so good, start a new thread and give us some links to your work
but dont be such a lamer and piggyback on someone elses efforts.

Good for him. I'd do the same if I could afford new gear.
As is, I keep using Nikons.

I'm not "so good", whatever that means. Unlike many who follow the
advertising macho bullshit about "being like a pro because I use pro
gear", I never claim to be such or wanting to be such.

Just an amateur, who takes shots that are nice to me and me only.
Like 99.99999% of the others out there. Except I don't have the
    slightest problem in admitting it.
Oh yes: I don't take shit from makers or those pandering their
    gear either...
