I have a Nikon D50 and several lenses, but I wanted a small walking around
camera for travel so I checked out several and was about to buy a Canon SD
    800. Fortunately, I read several reviews of the F30 and decided to buy it
instead. I ordered it from Amazon for $252 and received it yesterday. The
only negative I've found is having to buy Xd cards when I have several SD
cards for my Nikon. The camera does a great job in low light without flash
and ISO 800 is very usable. It easily fits in a pants pocket. In
addition, Fuji is offering a $50 rebate, so it will cost me about $200,
which is a really good deal. The Canon SD800 would have cost more than
$150 more. I can live without the 28mm wide angle.
