Can someone tell me that DPI this camera takes? I notice that the specs say
    you can take one of the following: 2048 x 1536, 1600 x 1200, 1280 x 960 or
640 x 480, but I may be confusing the DPI with the overall size of the
    image. I'm not a photographer.

    Thanks,

    Paul

The sizes you list are image sizes. The DPI is determined at the time
of output to a screen or paper. For example, if you have a 640x480
image and send it to an output device at 100 DPI, you will end up with
a .64" x .48" image. If you output at 50 DPI, the image will be 1.28"
    x .96".

Typical output to a computer monitor is 72dpi, and to a print is
    150dpi.

Ooops, that should be 6.4x4.8 and 12.8x9.6
