very good, at same prices i only found cameras with 4x, any opinions
about this camera, the guy in the shop told me about the Canon A 570is

Im a S9600 user more or less the same camera but more pixels. having moved
to it when my Minolta 7Hi was thought to have bit the dust.

There relatively noise free at high iso. Better then most Cameras can manage
at 400 when your using 800.They have a wideangle zoom of 28 mm equivalent
very few go below 35mm. The quality of captured Images is at the top end of
bridge camera's and just about the biggest sensor size you will find in a
none DSLR hence the low noise. Does not have high tech ttl flash but does
have low tech "Cable Release" I would recommend it.
    Makes a 570is look like a toy S3is or S5is are canon,s nearest.But still
smaller sensors then normal and higher noise levels
    Some redused snaps http://www.trevorbowden.co.uk/bccs.htm
