Does it say anywhere if it will meter with MF lenses? At that price I
think I would be happier with the older D2h than the additional pixels
    this one offers.

  3. I was surprised at the "Above Average" at first, but then reading the
cons I realized that the S3 Pro is a bit of a clunker when it comes to
what we expect from modern dSLRs. No option to turn off aggressive
noise reduction in-camera is pretty annoying to boot.

Still, I'm glad Fuji got the extended dynamic range to work - it's an
innovative idea and someone needs to try new things. If Fuji can make a
low-noise 8 megapixel version of the sensor and put it into a more
modern DSLR frame, I'm sure they'd be able to justify a good $500-600
more than the competition. I'm sure they'd make a lot of Nikon shooters
happy too - right now it seems you have to compromise too much for the
extra dynamic range on the S3.
