Anybody has gotten good result scanning the velvia50? I've so far tried
with a Canon1250, a Canon 9900 and an HP 4700, and the result is
extremely disapointing. The original when viewed on a light table or a
projector is spectacular, but all the scan I've had are dark, all blue
and horrible. I would like to know If anybody has had good result using
a dedicated film scanner and the Velvia; I don't have access to one, and
I don't want to buy one to discover that the scans are not useable.
Thank you for your time and bandwitdh.

It's your scanner, not the film. With my minolta 5400, excellent results.
