According to the S7000 manual, it only support up to a limit of 1Gb CF. Was
at the photo shop today and happen to have the chance to put in a 2.2Gb
Transcend MicroDrive. Surprisingly, it works and to the full capacity of
2.2Gb. How is this when according to FujiFilm, it can only go up to 1Gb?
Anyone with this same experience before? Now I am wondering if it will
    support 4Gb MicroDrive?

I dunno if it helps - and I am only guessing - but I usually interpret
supporst up tp XYZ as meaning that. It does not mean (I'm only guessing now
remember) that XYZ+1 does not work - all it means is that it is supported up
    to XYZ

I hope this makes sense :)

ps - I usually inerpret support as "if summat happens with XYZ contact
support" & "if summat happens with XYZ+1 support may quote that it has gone
    beyond the support area"

Gosh ... I guess you may have a point there. Meaning FujiFilm will only
support any damages on the camera caused by and if the CF used is 1Gb? Well,
I really hope this is true cos' right now, I am using the 2.2Gb CF card and
am gettgin no problem with it so far.

I think you'll find it's CF cards only. Microdrives are something else.
