I used to own a Fujifilm MX700, which in 1999 was a bloody good camera at
1.5 mega pixels and as a point and shoot camera never failed to take an
excellent photo with brilliant colour both indoor on flash or outdoor,
(however most of the photos were of my girlfriend :). I then swapped last
year to a Sony Cybershoot DSC-P10 5 mega pixels which although a decent
camera, has never yet taken as good a photo as the Fuji.
I wanted to get serious about photography so have returned to Fuji and
bought a Finepix S7000. I want to get the best from this and take photos
ranging from usual family snaps to breathtaking scenery photos. Can anyone
offer any advice and any online sites which has such advice.

    Regards
    Steve

I have one of these cameras as well. They are superb at what they do, and
the macro facility (double press on the tulip icon) is amazing. I managed to
et fully focussed shots with the subject TOUCHING the lens!

The only advice I can give i...shoot, shoot, shoot. I discovered far more
about it by using it than by reading. Sounds trite, but is true.

    Hi Steve,

Just found this site tonight while looking into RAW imaging - it's a
    S7000 FAQ.
As a fellow S7000 owner, I found it very useful - maybe you will too?
