Full colour sensors

    those are a few years old, with unknown issues since it's not a product
    anyone can actually test.

    companies patent all sorts of things that never are productized.

    the laws of physics say it will have drawbacks making it not practical,
    just like foveon has found.

    it's a solution in search of a problem.

    Not sure if it will ever happen, but I am hopeful someone will
    eventually solve all the issues Foveon encountered. I'd love to see a
    m4/3 20MP foveon-type sensor that had good color and low noise.

    In the meantime, I'll continue to enjoy the 'crappy' sensor in my GH3.
