    Took both of these yesterday:

Agnes Scott College is a women's college in Atlanta.
Apparently, it is close to the County Cathouse.

My favorite part of this one is how the guy scratched out "Bush" on
his bumper sticker. He's driving around town talking on his cellphone,
with an unchained old hound dog loose in the back of his truck with no
tailgate on it, and the dude's embarrassed that he voted for Bush.

In fairness to Dumbya, that bumper sticker dates back to the Clinton/
    Bush Sr. race.

Due to the insane amount of spam and garbage,
I block all postings with a Gmail, Google Mail,
    Google Groups or HOTMAIL address.
I also filter everything from a .cn server.

Yeah, they are funny pics. The cathouse in the opposite direction of
the Police Station, but in the same direction as City Hall.

It is funny when you see how dumb this guy is, no tailgate on the back
of his truck, he has a poor old Bloodhound laying on the flatbed of
the truck with absolutely no protection whatsoever. Driving while
talking on his cell and a bumper sticker stating that he once
supported Bush. The only light at the end of that dark tunnel is that
he wised up and scratched out Bush's name.

Not at all. That would be more like:

    NOT ONE. ZERO. ZILCH. NADA.

Which pretty much defines him as a scam artist,
a liar and a low-life troll when he claims to
    "generate traffic" there.
    Yeah, right...

    Soitenly.

    Let's try it again.

A skipping record, would, in a world of better grammar, sound thusly:

From whom did you take the From whom did you take the
From whom did you take the From whom did you take the
From whom did you take the From whom did you take the
From whom did you take the From whom did you take the

I've left out the rather irritating 'pop' sound as the needle jumps
grooves. I certainly hope that doesn't diminish the totality of the
    experience.

It filters Gmail, Google Mail, Google Groups or HOTMAIL **addresses**.
You are using an AOL address. Better that than Web TV, I guess.

No misunderstanding. Thunderbird won't filter on more than a few
headers. I'm limited to Subject, From or Date. Out of those three,
'From' is the only viable option.

There are ways around the problem, but I've had enough success with
'From' that I won't be needing any extra programs. The '.cn' in the
address filtering alone gets rid of over half my junk mail.

I am not quoting anything, but in order to avoid any future
misunderestimatings, I've edited the .sig file. I hope it meets with

Yes, I have newsproxy (on a PC) add the string |GG| to the subject if it
comes from User-Agent: googlegroups then Thunderbird filters for |GG|
and marks those as read & flagged. You can delete of course but it's
useful to see what folks are replying to. It's also possible to make a
white-list of friends from gg, just find their email first, do nothing &
the list of filter checks stops after the first match. Or scoring... not
    sure how that works.

  13. I think TB3 is going to have much reworked filtering capabilities, from
what I've read at bugzilla. I certainly hope so. And anything would be
an improvement from its current filtering brain-deadness. I pointed them
to Pan, which has essentially the same filtering syntax as slrn and Xnews
(and undoubtedly other clients), and which is very flexible.

  14. Luu has repeatedly said that he will not release the Xnews source.
And it's not a strong filterer, either. It requires one of the same news
proxies to pre-chew groups for it that TB does. That's why it appears on
the same page as TB here: http://improve-usenet.org/filters_ex2.html
