I want todo globe animation to show road trip.
I want to show whole globe rotating slightly. Next zoom to some city and
show trip direction using red line.
How to do it? Any suggestion. Can this been done from Google earth?

  2. Google earth Pro can create a video flythrough of waypoints - there's
a 7 day trial version available (though I never received the license
key by email, so I haven't tried it).

It's a standalone desktop application and only Pro (about $500
unlimited) will do the video walkthrough, though people have made
    mashups to do similar jobs.

There's an exact equivalent in microsoft's live maps at for which you'll need to sign in to passport.

You will also need to download and install Virtual Earth when prompted

On the maps page, enter your search location using "Add a Pushpin"
then add each pushpin on your flythrough to a named Collection.

After creating your set of pushpins, on collections click Actions ->
Tour and make videos in 3D, and follow the prompts listed.

Typically a shorter video (15-60 seconds) would take 2-10 minutes to
render and save, I think you'll only get windows media video, AVI and
one other format (forget which) that you can import into your video

    Cheers - Neil
