A couple of weeks ago I sent a film to Colab. It was returned with a
note from "The Administrators" saying it could not be processed at the
    moment.
I'll be sorry to see Colab go to the wall - I've always been very
happy with their work. I guess it's another consequence of us all
    going digital.

I found them to be terrible and expensive.

My experience also, from many years ago. Mediocre quality and service
at "professional" prices. I am surprised they have survived so long,
but some (very) surprisingly complimentary editorial in a photo
magazine in which they (profusely) advertised may have helped.

I think it must only apply to their Pro-Am department cos that has
dissapeared from the main site. All seems to be up and running as normal
    here!!

  5. When Colab are dead and gone, I'll be at the head of the queue to dance on
    their grave.

I found their quality to be mediocre at best, but their business ethics to
    be worthy of the sewer
