Dreary day today, these are from yesterday morning before the sun
came up behind the clouds. Handheld D300, 70-200mm f/2.8, raw
converteed with Bibble Lite and stitched with Autostitch. Cropped and
tweaked and resixed to 800 pixels tall in CS2. Not the greatest, but
the only color to ring out the old year with.

Thanks. There actually is/was a physical possibility to do this. The
shots with the pier in front, were taken near where the Water Street
label is just below the Colonial National Park green label on a set of
stairs at maybe five feet above the road. If I'd back tracked and went
up the stairs which connect up the hill to Church St. there is a
landing about halfway up where this is possible. However, the last
shot was taken at the small point at north of the turn around at the
end of Water St. You can see how the colors changed in the short time
to walk this distance. I would have probably been able to get the
final shot colors from there, but not the clear shots, before all the
color was gone. Having my 95# wGSD along for the walk was an added
complication. But, your suggestion is something I'll definitely
consider next time. Hopefuly, that will be warmer than the 25F with
15-20mph wind blowing down the York River.

Very good! I provided a similar link to my last reply. Just a bit
further up the road. Just a bit more up the road to the top left.
There is an old Archer house next to Cornwallis' Cave which has a set
of external steps that is 4.5-5ft high. You can just see the street in
    the first pano.

What a way to end the year with your first post to these forums
complaining about a less than 700 byte attachment. May the coming year
bring you more joy than this one.

Yes, this was just playing around with a Casio Z-750, which ultimately
    met a premature end.

It wasn't an image - and whatever you may think, these are text only
    newsgroups.

It's like opening a bottle of beer at the Christmas service - it's just
    wrong.
