Hasselblad announces 39 megapixel DSLR camera

    Hasselblad is creating a new standard of digital image quality for
    professional photographers with the announcement of a new camera and
    three camera backs based on the combination of Hasselblad’s new, true
    39 megapixel CCD sensor and its unique Digital APO Correction (DAC)
    technology.

    Preliminary pricing for the different digital-backs are as follows (in
    US dollars):

    H2D-39 - $32,000
    CF-39 - $33,000
    CFH-39 - $33,000
    CF-39MS - $40,000

    Sweet... Now the CF-39 and CFH-39 are as much as the Leica and Mamiya 22
    M. pixel cams. Thats no competition anymore :p
