HDR - how to do it?

Hello Everyone,

I assume that HDR is the practice of combining several exposures into
one - correct? What is a practical way to do this. I shoot with a D70s
and use PSE3 for post processing.

You need a 32 bit program like PSCS2 for HDR. If you do a google
search I believe there are programs other than PSCS2 that are 32 bit
capable. There might be trial versions as well so that you could play
with it beforehand. I've used PSCS2 for HDR and it is quite simple and
the video gives you a cookbook approach. There are also 16 bit methods
to use two different exposures of a raw image to bring out detail. I
don't remember enough about PS E3 to know if the techniques are
available there.
