Held replicating text effects

    Total newcomer to photoshop and the group posting for the first time. If
    Step 1: Add a Drop Shadow layer effect. (This is called a "Layer Style" in
    Photoshop 6 or 7, a "Layer Effect" in earlier versions.)

    Step 2: There is no Step 2.

    Hi

    Total newcomer to photoshop and the group posting for the first time. If
    anyone could give me any tips on how to replicate the text effect in the
    gif file below using photoshop I would be extremely grateful.

    It is very small but it looks like a slightly beveled layer style
    with a soft gray dropshadow

    Look in the layer styles dialog box,
