    Hello All,
I am hoping to learn and meet folks here!
I am reluctant to switch to digital. I feel that I put more effort
into every shot with my 35mm because I have to pay for development, as
    opposed to delete, delete..........
Is there anyone who can point me in the right direction if I do decide
    to go digital?
Thank you for your valuable time,

Forget about digital: join APUG and enjoy your hobby with film.
And forget about getting good advice on the Usenet:
all it is good for is scams and spam.

I imagine if that advise came from just one person you might be tempted to
ignore it. Please don't. It is probably the best advise you'll get from the
    groups.

Photography with digital cameras seems to be a machine gunning exercise in
the hope you'll get a better shot.

Photography with a film camera is absolutely about getting it right or so
close it doesn't matter - IN THE CAMERA. Stick with film if it's a hobby.
There is plenty of life left in film.

I shoot for a living with digital cameras and carry always a film camera for
    "important photography".
