    Nope,
    different time zone

    we are all sleeping :)

Now that I've got my dumb joke out of the way...I can tell you I live in
the US but have been to London twice.

    Absolutely love it.

On my wall is a photo of me taken on the escalator coming up from the
underground. It was taken in 1970.

Back then using that Ilford 1000 ASA film was really something!

Well, I've never been to London, but I changed planes in Heathrow Airport
once. That doesn't count, does it?

    It sort of counts...

While in the service I was on a plane that refueled in Greenland.
Never got off the plane, but I can kind of claim I was in Greenland once.

When I took my daughter to London, we got there during a public
transportation strike. In typical British fashion, the strikers were
considerate and were only on strike one day a week. Of course I did some
quick figuring and realized it would be the day we were going to be
leaving...and though we were not going to use public transportation to
get to Heathrow, I knew it would be impossible to get a cab...
So a full week in advance I called one cab company after another...
and found even a week in advance I would not be able to hire a cab.
Finally one company offered to take us there at 5 am for a 4 pm flight.
    So we gladly took it.

Though we had ten hours in the airport, we did a lot of people watching
and the time went unbelievably fast!
