HELP transfer my photos from windows 98 to windows xp

    I upgraded my windows 98 to windows xp home about a month ago. now I can not
    find my photos that I already had in the system in my picture easy file. can
    somebody help me transfer my file to the xp system. thank you Tracey

    Did you not back up your documents and photos BEFORE you upgraded to Windows

    If this was an upgrade and not a full install, then only thing I can think
    of right now is to do a search for the extensions like .jpg. Locate your
    Windows Explorer and do a search on *.jpg and do the same for any format you
    have your photos in. This may help you to locate some or all of your images.

    If it was a full install, then your out of luck if you didn't back them up.
