    You should always have post production in mind while you're shooting.

    Post production ideas can help you to recognize subject matter.

    You don't have to have a perfect finished visualization in mind.

    Work on recognizing when a scene represents raw material that can be
    worked into a finished image later.

  2. That's pretty useful. Do you have a direct link?

    I had no amount of grief with a current project because I demanded
    commitments on goals up front and refused to show any work until the project
    was well formed. Why someone expected me to invest time and money without
    any guarantee on critical elements being in place I don't know.

    Are there any academic papers kicking around on this kind of thing? I could
    do with some cites to put someone in their place.
