highlighting text in final cut express

    Maybe someone can help me out here. I'm making a video bio on my dad
    using Final Cut express. I've scanned in lots of old newspaper
    stories on my dad and I want to be able to highlight some of the text
    yellow as I pan accross the story and zoom in. I want the text to turn
    yellow or some other color as I'm zooming in and panning so I don't
    want to use another program like photoshop and import the file with
    the highlighting already done. Any suggestions on how to do this would
    be appreciated.
