It's been announced that in order to honor the Green Bay Packers
Superbowl victory, digital memory card manufacturers have all agreed
to put their initials on their products.

When the Packers discovered the cure for leukemia, I thought they
should be honoured. When they cured Third World poverty, the Nobel
should have been bestowed. When they came out with the pollution-free
internal combustion engine, I felt SURE they would get knighthoods!!
But knowing that they have gotten this memory card thing finally
allocates just a little justice for a team who has set the World on
    fire...

I suspect the joke is so subtle (read, stupid) nobody seems to get it.

Memory cards all (or most) have "GB" printed on them; gigabytes, you
know, or "Green Bay" if you want to be silly.

For next year they'll be branding their external hard drives with
    "TB", Tampa Bay.

By then the external hard drives will have PB for PittsBurgh.
