Ie: I want to play my home movie on a DVD player, and I want to burn on a
    CD-R, not a DVD-R.

    Thanks,

    Version of Premiere?

With 6.5 u need to export as MPEG (if u have bought the ability to do so)
and the categories there are VCD and SVCD.

Once u have the MPEG, burn it with nero (or similar) under the VCD wizard

Hmm. I am using the 6.5 "tryout."

I own the full version of Pinnacle Pro, and full version of MusicMatch Plus.

Is Premiere indeed the preferred Adobe program for creating CD-R of my DV?

If so, then what is the add on to allow me to go to MPEG?

    Thanks,
