How do you save streaming download video to harddrive?

  1. Using Win Media Player 9 and trying to save streaming *.wmv downloads to
    harrdrive for later playback.
    Any ideas?

    Only (well, easiest) way I do it is after it plays and before closing the
    media player, sift through the temporary internet files till you find it and
    copy it over somewhere

    There is a software that will do this...
    WM Recorder 9

    http://www.wmrecorder.com

    It works for most things...
    but not 100% of all streaming video..

    And it's free.

    Also, go to Google and do a search for Streambox VCR. It will handle Real
    media as well.

    Hi-Net Recorder will handle most anything, but not English friendly.
