Just want to say many thanks to everyone who gave great advice and
reassurance on this subject. I genuinely learned a lot. The off-shoot
    conversations were also highly entertaining!!
    Many many thanks again.

  2. You also witnessed the highly unusual spectacle of Tony Morgan
    conceding a point :)

....and being stunned into silence after denying he'd ever said something -
then being given the link to show he had.

    It's a shame "smug self-satisfaction" can't be conveyed by text alone -
you'd be getting it from this post... ;o)

It's just unfortunate that the groups has lost some really
knowledgeable people over the last few years (no names, the regulars
all know who they were and what caused them to leave), our loss -
    other groups / boards gain...

Jesus, I hope you're distinct from the colon(ised) Jerry, lest I puke
    at the chutzpah.

    Hopefully I'm wrong.

That you are nothing but a worthless troll, one of many who now
infest this once great group, that does nothing but troll those who
know and support those who (like yourself) wouldn't know a BNC
connector from a XLR connector or what component is if it reared up
and punched you in your loud mouthed gob...

I stand corrected. I was wrong.

    Where's your colons gone :Jerry::

heh heh heh...work this out Jerry..

The common thread to the demise of this 'once great group' is you and
Tony Morgan. I can't stand Morgan 90% of the time but at the very least
acknowledge that if you stroke his ego nicely that he actually offers
    help and advice.

On the other hand, you contribute nothing except perhaps to quote the
    copyright act every few months.

As for XLR yeah, I know what it is. BNC I'd heard of it but couldn't
    advise either way. However,
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BNC_connector
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/XLR

Guess what. Now I know. And because I posted the links, so can anyone
else that cares to know. Therefore I helped someone and you as always
    didn't.

And you know what else Jerry sans colon, Morgan will forget more that
you will EVER know about anything video.

    <snip trolling>

Does your Mummy & Daddy know that you are playing with their computer
    again?...
You knew so much about them that you had to look them up on the
    idiots encyclopaedia...

A popular grooming line for you I would imagine on myspace hey Jerry?
I think I stated my knowledge pretty accurately on this. Hence I needed
to look it up. That is generally how people learn Jerry when they don't
know things. They read and absorb new material.

You deride Wiki, and yet I've NEVER seen the group reply in such
comprehensive & concise terms as the links posted. The other great
thing is that when you go to the information on the page you don't have
to wade through the pissing matches and pedantry that YOU involve
yourself in. If you want all that stuff it's there in the background
for jerk offs like you to immerse yourself in.
