    hello,

the subject says it all really.

A hire company local to me have just bought in a bunch of new cameras
and so are selling off their old ex-rental PD-150s. I rang to enquire
earlier and they are going to get back to me with a price. I was
wondering if anyone out there could advise me on what is a good price?
These cameras are pretty well-used, some are bordering on "a bit
knackered". They have obviously been well maintained as they've been at
the hire company, but they are old with lots of hours on the heads.

    Whaddya reckon??

    Any help very gratefully received.
    Thanks, Chris.

  2. I presume you already know how to check the drum hours in the menu?

Not more than 1,100 pounds plus VAT for a good one.

Not more than a 900 pounds plus VAT for a well used one in good working
    order.

Compromise for cash deal with no VAT

Add up to 200 pounds if a comprehensive guarantee of at least a year is
    given.

For PD170's add another 300 pounds

Them's just my opinion as considerable buyer and seller of these types,
not as a dealer but as a producer.
