Editing an old documentary made by a prof that she now wants to show
    to her classes..

Is there software that will allow me to define different sequences of
a set of clips? I have ULEAD DVDWS. Don't see how it can be done
    there.

She wants to be able to choose an "expurgated version" even a "summary
version" but also the full movie.

    Just to belabor the point:

    Suppose clips are called 1,2,3,4,5

    Full : 1-2-3-4-5
    Expurgated 1-3-4
    Summary1-5

Actually the number of clips will be more like 80.

I don't think Ulead's DVDWS supports multiple VTSes or multiple PGCs which
is the way it is normally done.

    Take a look here:

It's slightly complex, better asked and you'll probably get a better answer
    on <news:alt.video.dvd.authoring>.
