    Hello,

I don't know nuthin' about digital camcorders. I bought the Sony
DCR-HC42, and have been using it for a while now. No problem getting
the video into my computer and into Vegas Video.
There's a "photo" button on top, and I presume that when I press it, I
get a still photo. So I took some pics, but now I can't figure out how
to get them off the camera. There was about 20 minutes of video on the
tape, then I snapped some pics, then finished up the tape with video.
Are the pics in the middle of the tape somewhere? Are they on a memory
    stick?

  2. Does it have a memory stick? Did it come with a USB cable?
Did it come with software? What does the manual say?
