I hope someone can give me advice on a videotape I would like to have
dubbed to either VHS or DVD formats. The challenge is that it's a tape
shot in 1969 using a Sony Porta-Pack portable video recorder, which I
believe was a CV-2000. Actually the camera and recorder had a General
Electric badge on it but it was Sony
made. Do you have any ideas on where I can get this transfered? I'm
in Southern California, but anywhere would work. Thanks in advance for
any help or suggestions you can make. ...John

VidPax at in New York has been recommended before on
this group and are proably one of the few facilities in the U.S. that can
    still handle that format.

who shot with a Sony Porta-Pack in college in 1973 :)

Thank you, Mike. Just what I needed. The tape was shot at our wedding
35 years ago and for a surprise I hope to bring it back to life.
Thanks for helping point the way. ...John

Thanks, Andy. I spoke to AVRS this morning and they have just what I
need. This for a tape shot at our wedding and unseen for 35 years.
    I'm about to be a hero. Thanks...John
