Can anybody tell me how to rewind my first exposed film in my Nikon
f401? Which (combination of) button(s) do I need to press?

    Thanks

  2. Could the film have been rewound automatically?
If not, try the button near the

    O_<_<_ mark?

Should be behind the shutter button and near/on the rear face.
Have camera turned on and with good batteries

(Info gleaned from photo in review of F401s.)

  3. F-401 doesn't rewind automatically. There are 2 controls. On the right top
back is a slide switch to push to the left. Then press down the button on
the right top panel simultaneously. The film should now rewind -- the film
advance window should have a roller turning on the back. Wait for the motor
    to stop.
