Hi, Recently I did some experiments with Canon A570 IS (re-programmed by CHDK) as a camera for KAP (Kite Aerial Photography). CHDK is a residential program, which resides in Canon camera memory. It is implemented for a lot of Canon's cameras. (I use Canon A570 IS). The CHDK is non-official soft, which can dramatically improve your camera - it adds many features, which are not implemented in standard soft from Canon. For me most interesting feature is serial shooting. You can create simple script in uBASIC language and the camera starts do to snapshots every N seconds. Then you can place the camera on a special container and fly it, using kite. Also it is possible to place a camera somewhere in a forest and snap wild nature scenes. Really funny thing... I created tutorial about this subject. I am not the author of the CHDK Itself. I've just created very simple script for my task. The article is just my own user expression. May be this article can help beginners to start.
