I'm ready to replace my 1st generation Epson Stylus Photo printer with
something a little more current and while I'm drooling over the Epson 2200,
my budget keeps telling me that I can't afford $650+ for a printer! Is
there anyone here who has tried both of these printers? If so, what are
    your thoughts, opinions?

    Thanks all,
    Ray

I've been using an HP7960 for several months now. It does a very good job
as long as you are satisfied with 8-1/2X14 as the maximum print size. Black
and white prints are superior to the Epson, and color is very competitive.
