Hugo So... 3 day shipping from HK

Discussion in 'Australia Photography' started by Warren Prasek, Oct 6, 2003.

  1. Just received a 550ex and ST-E2 from Hugo So in Hong Kong... which I ordered
on Friday! 3 days delivered to my door, the price of *both* units is cheaper
than what i'd pay for just the 550 locally. International warranty, units
    work perfectly, happy camper.

Thought this might be of use to others considering offshore purchases- no
affiliation other than very impressed 1st time customer. He even responds to
    emails within an hour...!

dud, so he sent me a brand new one (the first was second hand)

  3. The prices that he quotes... are they USD or HKD? (I dunno what the
conversion rate is and just how far apart these may be??)

  4. I have been getting some prices of Hugo recently.

For the EF 20mm there is a good price saving, but what is it with the
17-40??? No matter who you buy it off OS, it works out being very much the
same as what you can buy it here in OZ. Why is it worthwhile for everything
else except the one lens that I really want? :-(

  5. BTW... A quick trip to the currency converter and I see that the prices are
very much USD..... A 17-40 for AUD140 would be very nice indeed! LOL :)

but it's in chinese, and only really for his online printing service. better
to just email him direct and ask him what is in stock, and how much- stick
"hugoso" infront of that domain... without the "www" of course
