I just bought a Casio Z55 digital camera. Does anybody else have one, and
do you like it? Do you like the picture quality? Jeff

Shouldn't you have asked that question BEFORE you bought it???

That's got to be the dumbest comparison ever.

It always amazes me how many people investigate their gear only AFTER
    purchasing it.

I did NOT investigate only AFTER buying the camera. I did extensive
research, comparing features in specifications lists, reading reviews, etc.
And it was still hard to decide. You first decide on your needs (and every
person's needs are different) and priortize them in order. Then you narrow
down the list one by one. You are still left with several brands and models
to choose from. Unless you buy one, try it out, return it to the dealer,
try another one and another one, you will not ever know for sure. And I
don't have the nerve to try out that many cameras, then return them - even
if they let you. I suspect there is no perfect camera, no matter the price.
Just paying more does not assure you will get the perfect camera.

And if you want to know the truth, my wife insisted I buy it in time for
Father's Day, so I went ahead and took the plunge. I could probably
research it for six more weeks, and still not be sure. And by that time,
the models will change (and be cheaper with more features!)

Now that I have it, I was just curious if anybody else in this newsgroup has
    one. Jeff

Mike, I guess you did not read my response just above your post. Jeff

BTW, I ordered the camera online, and still have not received it. Jeff
