This may be a long shot, but I have a Canon Rebel XSi DSLR Kit + 18-55mm IS
    Lens.
I need a cash receipt (or #) for B&M retailer ( In AZ) so I can return it.

Any chance someone has a receipt for the same they would part with?

Didn't your mother or father, family members, minister, school
teachers ever teach you about honesty or integrity?

Yes, I should have been clear, this was recently purchased and the receipt
was accidentally tossed with the bag...best buy, and their new policy is no
receipt NO return or store credit. Period.

    Dont blame them.
Unless its an unopened sealed box and even then it may be from somewhere
    else!

    UPDATE !

Had a flier up in the neighborhood and managed to sell it to a friend of a
neighbor who is in town at a somewhat minor loss (-$60).

And so you want to use someone else's receipt in order to fool Best
    Buys.
Don't you understand that it is dishonest and you have no integrity?

Just curious, but why do you want to return the Xsi?
Its a great piece of equipment.

This kind of receipt usually states the serial numbers anyway.

Could be very wrong but in my mind I see a scrote trying to sell a "new"
    nicked camera.
The best price would obviously to return it for a refund...
The salesman sees scrote and he looks dodgy hence need for reciept.
If the original owner had a new camera he could go to the store and they
would have a record tracable by date, card details, postcode, Name, etc etc.
No need for a reciept. Unless its not really his of course...

Not in my experience. The bar code number of the product, though.

A duplicate receipt can be obtained if the item was charged to a
credit card. That supplies the transaction number.

I did exactly what the poster claimed to have done on an computer item
where a rebate was available. It does happen.
