As someone who is inexperienced and about to spend some money on
editing tools, I wanted to hear or be aimed at some in depth
discussion of differences between Canopus Edius 2.5 and Adobe
    Premiere 1.5

I have small experience with `Canopus Lets Edit' (software only) ditto
    with Premiere.

My feeling so far is that I've been able to find my way easier with
Premiere. I know this is very subjective and based largely on a feeling
when running Canopus tools that they seem more `foreign' to me. That
is, stuff is not where I expect or done some way I haven't
    anticipated.

Alot of that is due to inexperience because that also happens with
    Premiere but less so.

Also the help with Premiere seems more in depth and easier to use.

I'm wondering if with experience I'd begin to see serious differences
making one a much better tool than the other.

Over time, which line of tools can I expect to work hard to keep up
with the competition. That is, provide timely patches etc. Or since
Adobe has such a massive list of related tools, can I expect better
    integration between applications there?

Finally, I've noticed the Canopus forums seem better organized than
the Adobe forums. I find Adobe's forum setup really confusing.
