I am in London. Amazon UK lists a silver Casio EX-Z75 for £79.99.

    See http://amazon.co.uk/s/ref=nb_ss_w_h_?url=search-alias%
    3Daps&field-keywords=ex-z75&Go.x=12&Go.y=4 (or
    http://snipurl.com/1v6ok)

A little further down that page is a red Casio EX-Z75 for £95 and
this time the text says "Including Charger, Lithium battery".

Further down still is a black CASIO Exilim EX-Z75 which is also
    "Including Charger, Lihium battery "

    ------

Does this mean the £79.99 silver EX-Z75 does not come with a battery
and charger? There is no reference to them being present or absent
in the spec or the reviews. In fact some of the reviews is for a
    slightly different model, the EX-Z70.

The European model of the EX-Z75 comes with battery and charger (and
maximum 10 minutes of movie recording). The "International" model
    might be different.

But is this really a grey import? No other shop is mentioned by
Amazon which is sourcing the camera.

Does anyone know any more about this deal?

No the Ex-z75 comes with a battery and charger it won't take anything
else battery wise, it's not like you can put in AA's.

Are you saying that the EX-Z75 camera MUST come with a battery
because the battery it takes is NON-STANDARD?

Or maybe you are saying the camera comes with a battery for some
other reason that you know about. Please clarify.

Note that the original Casio Exelim batteries can be bought
    separately. For example, http://tinyurl.com/22qlqx (Jessops)

Yep.Tiny compacts usually come with proprietary batteries.Larger P&S come
with generic (AA) batteries. The proprietary battery comes with its own
charger, of course. It would be a good idea if you bought a second battery;so
when the one (and only) is drained, you put the charged one in.

I have the Exilm 7.2mega pixels. eZ-Z120 mine has a card 2 aa batts
and a lead to drop pictures off to camera. It was my first digital
camera and was sold as a refurbished for under £100. It's been a great
camera to learn on and I have enjoyed using it. I'm now moving onto a
Fuji s5700 and this could be very challenging. But son had a Kodak
and swapped quickly to the Exilm. seems far better.
