  1. I shoot mostly simple talking head shots in my clients offices and some B
Roll. Any thoughts about this insurance. seems really cheap ( If I understand it
correctly) at $125 for $1,000,000 in liability?
    What are others buying?

I ran the numbers on a replacement for my policy, using the worksheet on the
pdf. $200K gear, $10k "crime plus" X 3 videographers, and liability for 9
videographers (my present one is unlimited.). I got $2250. That compares
with my present insurance cost of $ 4301.
Mine is up for renewal, next month, and I will investigate this closely,
because that's enough of a difference to get my attention.

On the surface, I am bothered by the fact that I'm not going to be the
primary insured, and that I won't get a copy of the actual policy. Plus,
I'll be at the mercy of the policy holder's willingness and advocating
skills with the insurer, should a claim arise. This "associate member"
relationship may also affect the ability/willingness and timeliness of the
insurer to issue standard documents like additional insured certificates.

I currently carry other special coverages like a documents and valuable
papers/records rider, and business interruption coverage. I will ask about
these, and report back here to the group.
