I have a Beseler Printmaker 35. Can I use other lenses with it,
specifically non-Beseler lenses, or are the lenses sized or threaded only
    for the appropriate model? Thanks,

Yes. Beseler makes lens boards and retaining rings to let you put other
lenses on the enlarger. The standard enlarging lens fits a 39mm hole and
has Leica threads. The most common Beseler boards are this size, but some
other sizes may be available. You can also make your own lens board from
aluminum or from printed circuit board material of the right thickness.

  3. Just make sure you get a lens made for an enlarger. They are
different than a lens used in a camera. Camera lens are made
to work with three diminutions and an enlarging lens is made
    to work with only two.

Gotcha! I saw some enlarger lenses on eBay, thinking I would need a
different lens if I wanted to convert the Printmaker 35 into something that
    can do larger negatives.
    Thanks again!
