    The photo of the earth rising was the main point I think. It's nothing
    unusual today but was a big deal to see the first time. I was 5 years
    old & vaguely remember huddling around the TV watching Apollo missions.

    Offhand, I think we "put a man on the moon" in 1969.
    Yeah, the latter would've been kinda prominent in your life and lifestyle.
